Sumatra island (Indonesian: Sumatera) is in western Indonesia and part of the Sunda islands. It’s the 6th largest island in the world. This island is of extraordinary beauty, it bubbles with life and vibrates under the power of nature eruptions, earthquakes and tsunamis are Sumatran headline grabbers. Orangutan-filled jungles host not only our red-haired cousins, but also tigers, rhinos and elephants.
Till now I have been in Padang, Padangpanjang and Bukittinggi cities there. About Padang and Padangpanjag cities I don’t have what to tell much like I was busy with activities in Darmasiswa closing ceremony. Hope soon to come back to Sumatra and explore more places :).
