On the way from Lombok island

Lombok island

Lombok island forms part of the chain of the Lesser Sunda islands, with the Lombok strait separating it from Bali to the west and the Alas strait between it and Sumbawa to the east. It is roughly circular, with a “tail” (Sekotong Peninsula) to the southwest. It’s surrounded by a number of smaller islands locally called “Gili”. Here you will find and mount Rinjani (“Gunung Rinjani”) – Indonesia’s second-highest mount.

I visited Lombok once and stayed there for 3 weeks. I was exploring as much as possible. So here you will find my adventures, practical information and experience from this trip.
